A typical day at Little Treasures is packed full of fun and learning for your little one.  Each session includes a variety of child initiated and adult led activities, designed to stimulate your child's interests and encourage their development.

 

Activities such as painting, strengthens hand muscles to support pencil control.  Climbing on the climbing frame improves gross motor skills.   Using magnifying glasses to look for minibeasts in our wildlife area provides opportunities to use their senses and talk about patterns, differences, similarities or whatever else they have discovered!

Every session includes a healthy snack time consisting of a variety of fruits, vegetables and other items such as breadsticks and toast along with milk or water.

During each session we have a small circle time where we encourage the children to sit calmly and participate in singing, storytime, counting and show and tell either, in small groups or altogether.
